new knight rider is lame.

we live in times where our tv producers and movie directors are lacking creativity. i’m not knocking these peoples jobs.. i’m sure its hard as shit to invent tv shows and story lines.

what i am knocking is how terrible it is to bring back a classic and fuck it up.

if i were tasked to bring knight rider back to modern day standards – then i would have waited until i had opportunity to get ahold of the new Camaro. F-body for F-body. not trans-am to mustang.

KITT was 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. not a 1982 Mustang GT.

nutshell = new ‘KITT’ concept is appalling.

imagine if Old Yeller was redone – but instead of a dog, they used an orange cat. it’s just not the same is it? no – its not. you’d think – ‘wtf? old yeller was a DOG, not a CAT.’ at least i know i would think that…

i think its heresy. yup, heresy. KITT has been disgraced and disrespected. i would be really surprised if this show does any better than Cavemen did.

ok, maybe thats a bit harsh. but i feel like i’ve been let down. maybe the new KITT is awesome and all – but there’s just no replacing the original…
