ladytron and the faint @ 930 club

this is sucha late post, (like it shoulda been posted in april) but ladytron put on a fantastic show and the faint sounded great.

i figured i took pics and i’m goin to post them even though they’re over a month old.

of course these aren’t as fantastic as i’d have liked them to be, but i had to use my little sony pocket cam.  

thats one of the problem with SLR’s… they’re too big and obvious!!

hooray for tippys!

i decided i’d share one of my favorite places to eat – TIPPY’s TACOS!   while documenting Tippy’s, i got to use my latest purchase, the sony dsc-t77.  (lugging the d300 isn’t always practical, so all the pics taken here are with the sony) 

the sony is alright in performance.  for it’s size and convenience i dont think i can complain all that much.  i’ll write about it later.

anyways, on to Tippy’s…

when you first walk in, it’s like going back in time.  you find old school seats and color palettes.  they have a jukebox that i’ve never heard play – but then again it is older than me so it wouldnt surprise me that it doesnt work…

red bull art of can. wow.

 Red Bull has been hosting their annual Red Bull Art of Can exhibition since 2005.  This year the 2009 Exhibition will be held in Washington DC at Union Station October 1-12.

The exhibition will be open to all artists who can create an original piece of artwork inspired by or created with Red Bull cans.

You do have to register for the event and you have to do it before May 15th, 2009.

i’m sucha slacker.  i’ve been meaning to post up some links to some peoples work i admired.
